Template:Quest

This is a basic guide on how to utilize the Quest template for Trickster Online. This template is used for Normal and Key Quests. For Daily, Monster, Monster Daily, Party, Event Monster, Episode, and Transfer Quests, please see the specific pages on Guidelines. Please always read template guides before using, as there are usually very specific instructions which should be followed!

Copy the following template onto a new page, named after the quest's name. (type the name of the page you want to go to via your URL bar.) Try searching for the page first however, it may already exist!

Example, Horse Hiddink - Against Icy Roads will go to Horse Hiddink - Against Icy Roads.

NPC

The name of the NPC that offers the Quest.

Name

The Quest's name.

Location

The location of the NPC, which will be used as the Map Image as well.

Map

The name of the map, however only use this when the quest re-uses a map, otherwise don't add the parameter. This is to avoid having to re-upload the same map image when we already have them on the wiki. (example: Horse Hiddink - Jailer Coolem)

Left

The NPC's left coordinate.

Top

The NPC's top coordinate.

Condition

The Quest's conditions. This can include level restrictions, having an item in your inventory, or completing a different quest.

Exp

The amount of base experience that the Quest gives. Use commas as thousands separators.

TMExp

The amount of TM experience that the Quest gives. Use commas as thousands separators.

Request

The items that NPC requests to complete the Quest. It also can be to just talk to the NPC again, or to deliver something to another NPC.

Cycles

The amount of Quest's cycles (times it can be done).

Cycle_1 (+)

If the Quest gives different items in each cycle, type the number of cycle. If some cycles in sequence gives the same items, type the first number of cycle, a hyphen (-), and the last number of cycle, like this: 1-3.

Reward_1 (+)

If the Quest gives different items in each cycle, type the reward item(s) of cycle. If some cycles in sequence gives the same items, type the reward item(s) of each cycle.

Notes

Type here how to obtain the requested items. Any additional information that should be noted, goes here too. The way items are obtained are:

1. Drilled - Type: [[Image:Item Base Image.gif|Item]] [[Item]] is drilled in [[Location1]], [[Location2]], ... or [[:Category:Area|Area name]]. For example: [[Image:Sun Cream.gif|Sun Cream]] [[Sun Cream]] is drilled in [[Desert Beach Field 2 - Sand Palace]] or [[Image:Royal Mermaid Linen.gif|Royal Mermaid Linen]] [[Royal Mermaid Linen]] is drilled in [[:Category:Mermaid Palace|Mermaid Palace Fields]].
2. Monster Drop - Type: [[Image:Item Base Image.gif|Item]] [[Item]] is dropped by [[Monster]] (Lv.__Monster Level__). For example: [[Image:Staff.gif|Okto's Staff]] [[Okto's Staff]] is dropped by [[Okto]] (Lv.129).
3. Quest Reward - Type: [[Image:Item Base Image.gif|Item]] [[Item]] is obtained by completing [[Quest]]. For example: [[Image:Handkerchief.gif|Handkerchief of Challenge]] [[Handkerchief of Challenge]] is obtained by completing [[Mermaid Babe - The Mark of Love!]]..
4. Compounded - Type: [[Image:Item Base Image.gif|Item]] [[Item]] is obtained by compounding <Qt1>x [[Item1]] + ... with [[NPC]] in [[Location]]. For example: [[Image:Caballa Coffee.gif|Caballa Coffee]] [[Caballa Coffee]] is obtained by compounding 2x [[Coffee Beans]] + 1x [[Distilled Water]] + 1x [[Empty Potion Bottle]] with [[Compounder Paul]] in [[Relics Town - Azteca]] or [[Megalopolis Square]].
5. Purchased - Type: [[Image:Item Base Image.gif|Item]] [[Item]] is purchased from [[NPC]] in [[Location]]. For example: [[Image:Empty Potion Bottle.gif|Empty Potion Bottle]] [[Empty Potion Bottle]] is purchased from [[Item Girl]] in [[Gate of Desert Beach]].

Category

The last few lines is for adding the page to the Quest categories.

1. The first category belongs to Quest Area, like Desert Beach or Black Swamp. Make sure to edit the __AREA__ part.
2. The second category belongs to Quest Type. Edit __TYPE__ with:
   1. Normal - if the quest is a Normal Quest;
   2. Key - if the quest is a Key Quest;
   3. Shadow - if the quest is a Shadow Quest;
3. The third and fourth categories belongs to Experience Quest Type. Add that lines if the quest gives Base Experience (EXP) and/or TM Experience (TM).
