A gloomy man from the start, Frantz Kruger's life took a turn for the worse when he was bitten by a vampire. Unable to resist the temptation, he bit just one person. Instead of letting the blood complete his transformation, Frantz used the blood and the force of his own will to halt the process. He now exists as a creature trapped in limbo between human and monstrosity. As a side-effect of his condition, he suffers from chronic anemia and insomnia, giving him an ashen appearance and a sullen, sarcastic disposition.

Weapon Focus Change

Once a Focus Change Quest is received, a specific weapon type must be chosen, Sword, Twin Sword or Axe. When wielding the choosing weapon, you will have the greater power and a wider selection of skills.

When Frantz reaches Level 20, the Focus Change window will appear. Go talk to Joheim and choose the weapon. You must do a couple of Focus Change quests. When you return to Joheim to complete the process, all skills and skill points will be reset and specific Focus skills will be available.

Note: Once a Focus has been set, the change cannot be reverted.

Sword	Axe	Twin Swords
In this day and age, every young gentleman is expected to know something of swordplay. In Frantz's hands, however, the classic weapon becomes a deadly blur of razor-sharp steel. Lacking in range, using this weapon requires Frantz to be quick on his feet. In battle, he supplements his swordsmanship with dark magic granted by his vampiric blood.	When fighting an uncivilized enemy, sometimes a civilized weapon just won't get the job done. For this reason, Frantz has trained with massive axes that split his monstrous opponents in two with single strokes. Though not as fast as his sword, Frantz's axe makes up for the difference with the raw power and range of his attacks. He also employs some rather unorthodox techniques in which he throws the colossal weapon toward his foes like other men would throw darts.	align=left |

Short Distance Teleport		Frantz Lv.1	While standing, quickly press any direction key twice to teleport a short distance in that direction. Cancels an attack at the cost of 1 bar of the Active Point Gauge.
Perfect Guard		Frantz Lv.1	Reduce damage by blocking attacks with the equipped weapon.
Add Physical Defense		Frantz Lv.5	Increases Physical Defense.
Axe Mastery		Frantz Lv.10	When wielding an Axe, Physical and Magic Damage are increased.
Roll-Down		Frantz Lv.10	While knocked down, quickly press any direction key twice to roll.
Rising Attack		Frantz Lv.12	After using Sword Upper, you can follow the enemy into the air by using Grab (C).

Hard Blow		Frantz Lv.18	During the Basic Axe Combo use Guard (Z) to perform a Combo Finisher. The Combo Finisher has a small chance to stun the enemy.
Axe Focus		Frantz Lv.20	Increase Damage by 15% for all Weapon, Curse, and Summon type skills.
Axe Focus	Weapon	Frantz Lv.20	Sword Upper: Enables charging of skill. Charged attacks knock enemies into the air. Spiral Stinger: Adds damage & Stun effect. Soul Bleeder: Adds Darkness damage.
