About Party

By creating a party with other players, it can help you enjoy leveling your character.

  • A total of 4 players are allowed in one party.
  • Parties allow the use of Instance Dungeons
  • You will be able to see party members and the map they are currently on.
  • If a member appears as Too Far Away, he or she will not receive EXP/Ely Gain and Items.

Creation

To create a party, open the Party Window (P) and type the user you would like to create a party with. They do not have to be on the same channel to create a party.

Click Invite Party or press Enter to send the invitation.

You can also right-click a user and select the Invite Party option.
Another option is to use the Invite Party button in your Buddy List, after highlighting a friend you wish to invite.

Benefits of a Party

When you are in a party, the Experience and Ely gained are shared. Also, the monsters killed (for quests) and Event Items (for quests) are shared. This means that friends can help each other when having trouble with certain quests.

Please be aware that these only apply if you see the party member's dot on the mini-map.
The level gap difference between the party members must not be too big or the lower level party members will not gain anything.

In a party, you will have access to special Instance Dungeons, such as Lair of the Evil Dragon, that aren't available when you're alone. Inside these dungeons, you can find monsters exclusive to the dungeon that drop special weapons and armor.

If you have an active quest in your Quest Box (Q) while in an active party, you can give the quest to your fellow party members so they can complete it with you.

Open the Quest Box.
Click on the quest that you want to share and click Share.

This saves time from having members run back into town to receive the quests.
Notice: A party member may only receive the quest if they have not finished it and are the appropriate level.

Resetting Instance Dungeons

The party leader may reset the dungeon by pressing "P" and clicking Reset Dungeon if everyone has exited the dungeon.

You don't have to finish the dungeon and there's no penalty for resetting multiple times.

Notice: If a party member is in a different Instance than the one that you completed/want to reset, you may still reset the dungeon but only yours will be reset.

Leaving a Party/Kicking a Member

To leave the party you are in, click the X by your name in the Party Window to leave.

To kick out a member (Party Leader), click the X by the player's name to kick them.

If you change servers or log out, you will automatically get kicked out of the party.
If you are the party leader, the second player in the party list will become the new party leader.

Loot Settings

There are three options you can set for loot.

  • In Order Gathering: Drops will be distributed in order by the party list.
  • Random Gathering: Drops will be distributed randomly to any player in the party.
  • Free Gathering: Drops will be seen by all party members and can be taken by any.

Change Leader

You can change the leader of the Party in the Party Window, in the drop down list for Change Leader.

EXP Gain System

When soloing, EXP may change depending on both your level and monster level. With a party, EXP is effected with party's average level.
When 1 member joins, EXP gained from monsters get a +50% boost with a total of +250% for a full party.
