Basic FAQ

Q. What is the website for English LaTale?

A. There are two English LaTale website you can go. North America version is http://latale.ogplanet.com/ and Europe version is http://latale.aeriagames.com/.

Q. What is the difference between OGPlanet LaTale and Aeria game LaTale?

A. OGPlanet LaTale have been out about a year now compare to Aeria game just started it service recently. Which means there may be contents that Aeria haven't release yet or vice-versa. In Fashion Shop prices may be different between the two, OGPlanet uses Astro point while Aeria uses AP. Official event may run differently between the two service.

Q. Has OGPlanet blocked foreign IPs?

A. The English LaTale is open to all countries, with the exception of countries that already have their own version of LaTale (China, Korea, and Japan) and also that registrations are disabled for new users from Brazil (LaTale Region block and Attention Brazilians).

Q. Can you run LaTale with Mac?

A. LaTale is not compatible with Mac computers. It is unknown if Mac computers will be compatible with LaTale in the future.

General FAQ

Q. Do potions have cooldowns between use?

A. Yes, potions have cooldowns.

Q. Is there PvP in LaTale?

A. Yes, there is PvP in LaTale. You can PvP at the Fight Arena in the town of Elias.

Q. Are there pets in LaTale? If there is, what do pets do?

A. Yes, there are pets in LaTale. Pets can pick up item drops for you or cast buffs on your character. However, pets do cost real money to buy and use. However, there is one pet that you can buy for 100,000 Ely (However, this pet does not have special uses besides stats.)

Q. What are the Returning Stones in towns and Stones of Iris in the fields for?

A. Returning Stones and Stones of Iris are spawn points for characters. If you happen to die in LaTale, you can either revive at the last town Returning Stone you registered or the last Stone of Iris you registered.

Q. Can I reuse my character's name if I delete it?

A. No, you cannot. Once a name is deleted, it cannot be reused. It is unknown if this will change, or if deleted names will be wiped in the future.

Q. My weapon has dissappeared! It's equipped but it isn't showing up!

A. Your character can have a total of two weapons equipped at once. To switch between them, press Tab. You most likely pressed Tab and didn't notice, and you switched to an empty weapon slot.

Q. Is there marriage in LaTale?

A. Yes, there is a marriage/couple system on LaTale. It is currently Male/Female relationship. You start off a couple by pressing J and requesting to start a date with the user name you put in. They can either reject it or accept it. You gain love points by hunting monsters, you also gain points by being online with your partner.

Q. How do you get married on LaTale?

A. You get married by having 2500 love points, and purchasing the "Please accept my love" item from Issac in the Wedding Hall for 10,000 ely. Your partner must be next to you when you propose. After you purchase said item and your partner accepts, Issac will start the wedding. You and your partner must be wearing at least two pieces of the White Wedding Set.

Character/Classes FAQ

Q. How many character slots do you get per account?

A. You're allowed to create 3 characters per server (not the server you choose in the launcher before you start the game).

Q. What is the max level in LaTale?

A. The max level is level 200.

Q. Do ranged weapons or skills require any sort of ammo?

A. Ranged weapons do not require ammo. Ranged skills require no ammo either, however, they do cost SP.

Q. Can you only buy fashion equipment with real money?

A. No, some fashion can be obtained in-game , you can obtain fashion digging and also with in-game currency (Ely). However, the majority of it will be in the Fashion Shop.

Q. What are the classes, and what weapons can they wield?

Q. Is there a healing class in LaTale?

A. There is no class devoted to healing. However, Wizards have access to healing spells. Bards are the closest class to a healing class in LaTale. Bards have access to both healing and support spells.

Q. How do I job advance?

Q. Are there any skill resets?

A. Yes. You can buy skill resets at some NPC shops for just 100,000 Ely. Also, your skills are automatically reset once you job advance at level 80.

Guilds

Q. If I leave a guild, what happens to my guild points?

A. Your guild points will be permanently lost. They are not transferred and do not return even if you join the same guild again. You start back at 0 if you join any guild afterwards.

Q. My guild won't level up, even though I am the guild leader and I have the required crystals and guild points.

A. The Guild Crystals must be in one slot, so make sure to drag the multiples into one slot to compact them. It won't level up, otherwise.
