IUG. UPGRADING as you can tell already, upgrading is a really easy process. in fact, it's a way to save money as well as being able to maintain the enchantments you inserted into your previous equipment without having to buy an entirely new item without any added stats~ to say the least, upgrading isn't your average "adding +'s" into the item. it's just basically making your weapon from the current lvl to the next highest weapon~
capsules and minerals are used to upgrade your weapon. capsules can be brought at any npcs in town~ browse around until you see an npc that sells upgrade materials~ make sure it's the right capsule! higher level towns sell higher level capsules and vise versa~ the minerals can be mined at a nearby mine or brought from players in town. they do not drop from monsters, unfortunately~ if you need higher level minerals, you'll need to go to a higher level mine. npcs that sell upgrade items usually have 4 options. choose the third option (업그레이드아이템)~
here, let's get some visuals -
1. open the upgrading window by pressing the "U" shortcut key. insert the item you wish to upgrade in the window shown below. here, a lv1 "knuckle duster" is being used as an example.
2. insert in the remaining areas the appropriate materials.
3. on the right side of the window, it'll show the resulting item. take notice that it's a lv6 "divinity knuckle duster" now, the next highest level on the weapon chart. also notice that the stats remains enacted~ on the bottom where is says 성공확률 is your success percentage of, well...succeeding~
4. when everything is ready, press on 실행~
5. if success occurs, this animation will pop up :3~ however, if the item upgrade fails, the item will disappear, so be careful!
6. your lv1 "knuckle duster" has been changed to a lv6 "divinity knuckle duster" now! grats :>~ if your wish to upgrade your lv6 "divinity knuckle duster" further, it'll become a lv11 "iron fist".

IIE. ENCHANTING
enchanting, unlike upgrading, are items that you can insert into your equipment
to add stats into them~ very helpful as stats are self allocated, so you won't have a chance
to go hybrid even if you wanted to~ with enchanting, you can add additional hp blocks into your
item so you'll get more hp to tank, etc~ cubes and puzzles, used for enchanting, can be brought from npcs
in town, from players and is occasionally dropped by monsters [yay!]
IIT. Tips before Enchanting here's some tips to look out for before attempting to enchant -
a. before buying your cubes and puzzles, look at the enchanting option level first. if it doesn't correspond with the cube/puzzle's level, it will not work.
b. the difference between cubes and puzzles is that puzzles (lv1~10) increase your stats while cubes (lv1~9) decrease the stats you've inserted into your equipment.
c. you can keep adding enchants until the durability runs out (강화 내구도).
now, let's look at how enchanting is done using examples -
1. open the refining window by pressing the "N" shortcut key. in this enchantment, lv62 "titanium shoes" are used as an example.
2. insert the item in which you want to add the stats of. in this example, a lv1 speed puzzle is used to speed up the shoes~
3. on the right side is the resulting shoes. the stats that'll be added in is movement speed +1~+3.
4. press 실행 to begin your enchanting~ 성공확률 is the success percentage.
5. if you succeed, you'll see this animation. if you fail, your item will disappear.
6. as you can see, the enchanting person got lucky and got +3 out of the +1~+3 possibility~ he also succeeded from his 95% success rate. he now has movement speed +3 added into his titanium shoes ;>~

REGARDING ENCHANT SUCCESS RATE - Kumacakes' words:
To find out your overall "real" success rate of enchanting something X number of times, just plug in your base success rate as a decimal (.95 if you don't have the mask/title/remedy, .97 if you have one of these, .99 if you have two of these) and then plug in the number of times you plan to enchant this equipment as the exponent, then just use a calculator to figure it out. Multiply this answer by 100 and you have your TOTAL success rate (according to statistics)
FOR EXAMPLE:
My friend has a nice 19x dura hat she wants to enchant up to Lv8 magic. She only has a 95% success rate though. Here is how she can find out the chances of enchanting it 8 times without breaking -
(.95)^8 = .66~ x100 = 66%
Wow, only a 66% chance of succeeding all 8 enchants in a row?! Yeah, it makes more sense now, huh. Having the title, remedy, and/or mask can GREATLY increase your overall chances, like this scenario:
My friend recently got the mastercraft mask, so now her success rate is 97%. She wants to enchant her shirt with 19x dura with Lv8 magic. Let's see how this compares to her previous 95% rate:
(.97)^8 = .78~ x100 = 78%
A mere +2% enchant success rate sure helps a lot. Let's pretend she also got an enchant remedy, which would make her success rate 99% -
(.99)^8 = .92~ x100 = 92%
As you can see, +4% is a huuuge boost in overall success compared to plain old 95%.
