How to Use Particular Items
- Recovery Items
These items recover the user's health or magic.
Food items cannot be used in battle and cost Will to use. Food recovers most of your HP and MP at the same time and some items are specialized in health or magic.
Potions can be used during battle and take effect after one turn. If you take 3 attacks before using it, then usage is cancelled and the potion disappears. Potion doesn't cot Will, regardless of when you use it.
- If you want to use them during battle, you have to put the items in a quick slot
Life Potions are divided into [Beg], [Int],[Adv], and [Pre]. Each has a usage limit at level 30, 60, 100, and 120, respectively.
- Equipment
Equipment is the weapons and armor you put on your characters. The power of equipment can be increased through enchanting. Each piece of equipment takes its own slot in the inventory window.
- Licenses
Licenses are functional items that help with playing the game and during battles. If you use one, it will last for a set amount of time.
- Scrolls
Scrolls allow any mercenary to use magic. Scrolls of magic can only be used during battle.
After using a scroll, you have to wait a certain number of turns before it takes effect (about 3 turns). If you take 3 attacks before it starts, the scroll will fail and the item will disappear.
- Growth Items
Whenever your level increases, you gain bonus points and skill points. Growth Vials and Skill Books can be used to exchange bonus points and skill points for stats and magic skill.
- Materials
These items are used to craft gear and other items. They are gained through battle and some can be bought from the market at a fixed price.
- Quest Items
Items used in quests. They can't be traded. Some items can be used in multiple quests.
How to Item Manage
What is Crafting?
Crafting is the ability to create many common or craft-exclusive in-game items.
Learning How to Craft
In order to craft a desired item, you first need to learn the craft skill associated with it. After learning the craft skill (or more), the player must earn crafting experience for that craft in order to level it more, which in turn will allow greater access to other items. Earning crafting exp. can come from crafting from the chosen crafting skill, dismantling equipment or accessories, guild crafting, and teaching crafting skills to others.
- Learning to Craft
1. Learn from an idle Crafting NPC .
- You can learn some basic crafting skills from idle crafting NPCs up to level 10. Greater than level 10 crafting skill requires leveling from other sources. Learning from an idle crafting NPC will cost gold, depending what level you are obtaining. Below are a list of idle crafting NPCs:
- - Cai Lun - Located South of the Sea Palace Entrance - Teaches Armor, Helmet, Food, Medicine, and Stationary crafting skills.
- - Ganjang - Located Northwest of Calcutta - Teaches Sword, Spear, Axe, Bow, and Gun crafting skills.
- - Gum Hwal Li - Located Northwest of Calcutta - Teaches Helmet, Armor, Gauntlet, Pants, and Shoes crafting skills.
- - Shakespeare - Located at the Bazaar in Rome - Teaches Book crafting.
- - Kang Tae Gong - Located at Hainan Island - Teaches Fishing Tool Crafting.

2. Learn from a wandering Crafting NPC.
- You can learn any basic or unique crafting skills (e.g. License) from wandering Crafting NPCs up to its maximum crafting level. Unlike idle crafting NPCs, these tend to 'wander' around the world, stopping at several cities during their travels. Players can randomly run into these NPCs, or to pinpoint their location, ask Livingstone for 1000g. Learning from a wandering NPC will cost gold, depending what level you are obtaining.

3. Learn Crafting Skills from Players.
- You can obtain crafting skills from other players, whether by asking around or through the [Artisan] List under the [Community] button. Unlike learning from NPCs, how much you can learn from players depends on what level their crafting skill is. For example, if you want to learn Food craft lvl. 23, then you either must find an Artisan who is an 'Expert' in Food craft or find the relative wandering Crafting NPC. Below is a list of artisan skill levels and the corresponding skill levels that can be taught from them:

Crafting an Item
- Method
1. Go to [My Info] > [Skills] > [Crafting Skill] to view the crafting list.
2. Select the crafting skill and item you wished to craft. Items that are able to be produced will be displayed on the right, depending on the level of your craft skill.
3. Choose the desired item and input the quantity needed to see the materials required to craft them.
- Start Crafting
1. When you have all the materials required to the appropriate quantity, click on the [Craft] button. If successful, you will see a progress bar at the top left of your screen.
2. The workload rate is proportional to the number of battles played (rate is higher depending what level you are and what level the monsters are), the amount of workload used from auto-crafting, and/or from the usage of Crafting books. The crafted item(s) will be completed then workload reaches 100%.
- Note: You can only craft one at a time.
- Note2: If inventory is full, item(s) will be sent to your mailbox.
- Increasing Your Craft Level
1. When the craft item(s) is completed, you will gain crafting experience for that craft skill.
2. If your crafting experience satisfy the required experience points to increase its level, you can then begin leveling it up.
3. Leveling up your crafting skills can be done by learning skills from idle or wandering Crafting NPCs, or from other players.
What is Enchanting?
Enchanting is a technique which increases a weapon and armor's effectiveness. It requires a second weapon or armor of the same type, and a number of enchant stones depending on the number of enchantments/enhancements made on them.
A Weapon Enchant Stone is for enchanting a weapon and a Armor Enchant Stone is for enchanting defensive equipment. An Accessory Enchant Stone can enchant an accessory, for example, a ring.
If you successfully enchant a piece of equipment to a high level (+3 and above, max. +10), you can get an added visual effect.
Also, enchanting is 100% successful. You will never lose your equipment from enchanting them, unlike enhancing.
How to Enchant?
Enchantment stones are divided into [Beg], [Int], and [Adv] levels. There are also Enchantment stones [Pre], which levels 1 - 120.
1. You can go to [My Info] > [Enchant] in the Game Menu, or just right-click the enchantment stones.
2. In the enchant menu, you can register the item you want by dragging two of the same equipment, or you can use the [Auto] button.
3. Once you complete the registration, click on [Enchant].
- - Note: Normally, enchanting results from +0 to +1, however, there is always a probability that it can potentially upgrade between +2 to +4.
Also:
What is Enhancing?
Unlike enchanting, enhancing is the ability to improve your equipment or accessory without sacrificing your copy. Meaning, instead of needing two of the same item to upgrade, you only need just one and the required number of Enhancing Stones. However, enhancing could fail and break your items based on a 50/50 probability, no matter what enchanted upgrade it has.
So, to break it down for ya:
| Enchanting | Enhancing | |
|---|---|---|
| Will I Lose My Item if it Failed? | Enchanting never fails. 0% Failure. | Yes. 50% chance no matter what the stats are. |
| What Kind of Stones Do I Use? | Enchant Stones [Beg], [Int], [Adv], [Pre] | Enhance Stones [Beg], [Int], [Adv], [Pre] |
| Any Enchantment Boosts? (e.g. +0 to +3) | Yes. Possible from +0 to +4. | Yes. Possible from +0 to +10 |
How to Enhance?
Enhancing requires Enhancement Stones of different levels, such as [Beg], [Int], and [Adv]. Enhance Stones [Pre] exist for enhancing items up to lv. 120.
- Oriharukon Enhance Stones can be used to improve your enhancing and success rate on your equipment or accessories.
To enhance a certain equipment or accessory, you must do the following steps:
1. Go to Vulcanus located at the Bazaar at Rome. Click on him.
2. In the Enhancement Menu, place the item you wished to enhance and the corresponding Enhance Stone(s). Alternatively, you can use the [Auto] button.
3. Once everything is registered, press the [Enhance] button to complete the process.
How to Power Enhance?
Power Enhance is a safer way to enhance your items using Oriharukon Enhance Stones.
Below are the characteristics of Power Enhance:
- It requires Oriharukon Enhance Stones instead of a regular enhance stone.
- You can start enhancing by right clicking on the Oriharukon Enhance Stone instead of going to NPC Vulcanus.
- You can enhance up to +4 grade.
- If you fail to enhance the item, it might be destroyed or if not, there's a chance of decreasing the enchant level.
- You can use lucky points to increase the success rate.
Lucky Point
In order to use power enhance, you have to have lucky points. If you fail to enhance, depending on the type of enhance stone used, you will be given lucky points. (If successful, you receive 10% of the lucky points that's given when you fail enhancing.)
Depending on your lucky points, the enhance success rate will vary & once you enhance an item successfully, all the lucky points will be used. However, the success rate varies depending on the item's grade and enchant level.
- Unused lucky points will be reset everyday at 6:00AM PST.
What are Repair and Dismantle?
When your equipment begins to show durability and in need of repairing, you can use the repair feature to improve its durability. You can also dismantle your equipment items into elemental materials and for craft experience. These features are under one area in-game.
- (depends what equipment you dismantle, for example, dismantling a bow gives you bow craft experience.)
